WORK EXPERIENCE PLACEMENTS

Thank you for your interest in our company.

Every year Designation has a large number of requests for work experience placements from all over Europe.

Unfortunately we can offer only a very limited number of placements each year to the most enthusiastic aspiring young designers/developers. These placements are for periods from one week to three months, though we may consider gap year students in certain circumstances.

Requirements for consideration:

School/sixth form students

You should have a genuine desire to work both in design and to pro-actively get involved during any time spent with us.
Maximum placement period is one week and preference will be given to students who are known to the team and who are local to the studio.

University students/graduates

Before contacting us you should have performed the appropriate research into both our company and our work. You should be committed to the design profession and want to work specifically in an agency such as ours.
Maximum placement period is three months and preference will be given to students whose skill-set fits any requirements we have at the time, and to those based in the UK.
Students are responsible for finding accommodation prior to starting any placement. Placements are not paid, but we may consider helping with living costs in exceptional circumstances. Placements should not be seen as a pathway into our company. However, in exceptional cases placement students may be offered ongoing positions in the team after successfully completing their courses.

Remember to include as much information about your request and requirements as possible, ensuring you include links to online samples of your work. If you are print based please ensure you have digital samples of your work that you can send us later if applicable.

Please do not send us snail mail as we prefer email – and it’s rather strange that you don’t! If you do write us a letter then include an email address or you are extremely unlikely to get a reply!
